Here's a proposal for a layout for the first parts of the experiment in the new lab space (attached). The plan was to have space for an in-air prototype Michelson, and simultaneously have space for building up a power-recycled IFO, with both connectable to the photon counting readout, and hopefully minimise movements of components in moving to later stages of the experiment. The power-distribution, SHG, and input laser breadboards are intended to go either on shelves above the benches or a bench in the other lab. Layouts within individual breadboards are rough drafts.
