This is the worksheet we must fill out now for items ordered and shipped from China.
Here is what I have gathered on how to fill it out:
(Also available on Wiki)
1. AWB or B/L Number
	- What it is: The Air Waybill (AWB) or Bill of Lading (B/L) number is a unique tracking number for your shipment.

	- Where to find it:

		- Provided by Shipment company.

		- Check your shipping confirmation email or tracking details.

		- If not available, you can request it from the supplier.

2. Description of Goods & Part Numbers
	- What it is: A detailed description of the items containing aluminum, along with their SKU (part numbers).

	- Where to find it:

		- This information is in your invoice (Description & SKU columns).

3. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Code
	- What it is: A 10-digit classification code used for customs.

	- Where to find it:

		- Your invoice lists HS Codes (Column: HS Code).

		- However, the correct HTS classification for your products may be different.

		- You can verify HTS codes using the USITC HTS Search Tool: https://hts.usitc.gov/.

4. Country of Origin
	- What it is: The country where the product was manufactured.

	- Where to find it:

		- Your invoice lists this under COO (Country of Origin).

5. Does the Product Contain Aluminum?
	- What it is: A simple Yes/No question.

6. Was the Aluminum Component Produced by an Extrusion Process?
	- What it is: Determines if the aluminum was made through extrusion (pushing heated aluminum through a die) or another process like machining or casting.

7. Is the Product a Finished Product or Further Processed?
	- What it is: Determines if the item is a final product or if additional processing was done.

	- Look at the table for more information on categories.

8. Is the Aluminum Used in the Product Primary or Secondary?
	- What it is:

		- Primary Aluminum = Mined and refined aluminum.

		- Secondary Aluminum = Recycled aluminum.

9. Is the Product Cast, Forged, or Rolled?
	- What it is: Identifies the manufacturing method of the aluminum component.

	- How to verify: You may need to ask the supplier for manufacturing details.

10. Does the Product Contain Aluminum That Was Milled or Further Processed?
	- What it is:

		- Determines if the aluminum part underwent additional processing (e.g., machining, milling, drilling).

11. Manufacturer and Exporter Information
	- What it is:

		- Manufacturer Name & Address = The company that made the product.

		- Exporter Name & Address = The company that shipped the product.

	- Where to find it:

		- Your invoice lists the exporter.

		- The manufacturer may also be a supplier in China.

12. Primary Country of Smelt
	- What it is:

		- The first country where raw aluminum was processed from bauxite into metal.

	- Where to find it:

		- You may need to check with the manufacturer.

		- If unknown, China is the assumed smelt country, as the COO is China.

13. Secondary Country of Smelt (if applicable)
	- What it is: If the aluminum was smelted in more than one country.

	- Where to find it:

		- If all aluminum processing happened in China, this is not applicable.

14. Country of Cast
	- What it is: The country where the aluminum was cast into its first solid form (e.g., ingots or billets).
